If youre looking for a great way to add some luxury to your life in your Willow Hill, Puyallup apartments, you should consider installing a home theater system. Home theater systems are a great way to relax, they let you escape the world a little bit and truly enjoy yourself. They also save you the time of driving to a theater to see a movie. Putting together a home theater system isnt too difficult all you really need are a few of the essentials; here are a few things you may want to consider including in your set up: The first thing you are going to want to get for your home theater is a projector. There are any different types of projects, some are meant to be mounted on the ceiling while others are meant to be placed on a desk. Map out how you would like to set up your home theater room before you choose a projector, this way you will know exactly what type of projector you need to install. The second thing you will need to create a true theater experience is a surround sound system. You have two options here, you can either buy a wireless system, or you can install a system with exposed wires into your complex. A wired system is less aesthetically pleasing and a wireless system is less expensive to install. The last thing you will need is some comfy chairs or couches. Neither choice is considered better; it is up to your own personal preference on whether you prefer one over the other. Either way the key is to have something comfortable that you would enjoy watching movies on. There you go, thats all you need! Setting up a home theater system in your JBLM housing isnt too difficult; all it takes is a little bit of ingenuity. Feel free to get creative and add on finishing touches such as a microwave or a refrigerator, the sky really is the limit.

For some people, keeping the kitchen of their Puyallup, WA apartment looking as clean as it did the day they moved in is easy. That is not the case for myself. I am a very tidy person by nature; but, try as I might, I have always struggled with keeping my kitchen sparkling. In my quest for cleanliness I have found a few little known tricks that have helped me immensely. Clean out that microwave! Ever noticed how quickly the inside of your microwave can start to look like the inside of a bag of popcorn? All those little particles of food that stick to the walls of the microwave get harder and harder to remove each time you use the appliance. The problem is compounded by the fact that cleaning the microwave requires applying a seemingly unprecedented level of scrubbing pressure, at unnatural angles, for extended periods of time. How do you get around this? All you need to do is mix 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice or vinegar, and 2 cups of water, in a 4-cup glass microwave safe bowl. Microwave the mixture on High for 2 to 3 minutes. The mixture will have vaporized and formed condensation on the walls and roof of the science oven. Be careful as you remove the bowl Its hot! Use a rag or paper towels to wipe the inside of the microwave and most of the mess should come right off. Particularly stubborn stains may require you to repeat the process a few times in order to break them down. Clear out that drain without the chemicals We all live downstream, but when you have a slow drain it can be tempting to just reach for a bottle of chemical drain cleaner to clear it up. Before you do that, try pouring cup baking soda down the drain, then adding cup white vinegar. Cover the drain, and let the mixture foam for a few minutes as it breaks down the blockage. Carefully pour 8 cups of boiling water down the drain to flush everything through and you should be good to go! It is important to note that you should NOT try this method if you have already used chemical drain cleaners. Flush out that coffee maker This one is less of an obvious mess, but a mess nonetheless. Most people clean their carafes regularly, but completely neglect the internal aspect of the machine. Clean the machine inside and out by filling it with equal parts water and white vinegar and running it through a brew cycle. Once this is complete, rinse out the carafe and repeat the brew process two to three more times using fresh water. Do this once every couple of weeks to get the most out of your morning cup. These are just a few tips I have come across in my never ending quest to keep my JBLM housing looking great. Remember these next time you tidy up and you are sure to save some time and effort. Now youve got more time to do other things. Important things, like looking at pictures of cats on the internet, or lurking around on social media.

So you want to mix things up in your Willow Hill apartment but dont know how? Many people feel like there is nothing they can do if painting the walls isnt an option. While painting the walls is a good way to change the look of your JBLM Housing, it is far from the easiest. Furthermore, very few apartment communities allow this level of change to their property. Well, dont worry because there are a number of inexpensive alternatives to painting that wont permanently damage your apartment. One option is to use large canvases to cover the walls. This can get pricey depending on the size of canvas but it provides an incredible look. Geometric patterns or minimalist designs work well if you are starting with a blank canvas or you can buy a piece from a store like Ikea. An alternative to this idea is to cover an entire wall in picture frames and mirrors. They dont all have to have pictures in them either. In fact, many people choose empty frames on purpose because they like the look. This has a similar effect to the canvases but can be done much cheaper. A unique idea Ive seen on design sites lately is to cover a wall, or section of a wall, with doilies. Starting from the bottom and moving left to right, use painters tape to secure doilies to the wall. Work your way up, row by row, until you reach the top. Secure the top row with clear thumbtacks and you are good to go. Bonus style points are available if you add color by spray painting the doilies before hanging. Another idea for the crafty individuals among us is to tape colored streamers to the wall vertically. The lines created by the streamers are visually appealing and give the place an open feel. Because of the potential for very bold color schemes, I recommend using this technique only for smaller accent walls. One of the cooler alternatives I have seen to painting involves attaching fabric to the wall using starch and a paint roller! You can choose any fabric you want, just so long as it is relatively lightweight (sorry Denim Dan, I dont know that youll be able to cover the wall in your old Wranglers). By following these instructions you will have a stylish and unique living room in no time! If you dont like any of these options there are still things you can do. A quick internet search for Wall Decals pulls up a huge selection of retailers offering a truly incredible product. These wall decals are made from vinyl and can be put up or taken down in minutes. Furthermore, many retailers are able to create decals from pictures YOU submit! Thats right, you could look out at the Cancun beach you went to on your honeymoon every day, and see it at actual size from your living room! You can also choose from cheaper, simpler designs if you want something a little less in your face. These are great for making a bold statement with your décor without losing your deposit. With all this in mind, I hope I have helped you find a way to cover your walls in a unique way that wont get you in trouble with the property manager. Who cares that you cant paint the walls of your apartment near Pierce College? With options like the ones Ive listed above youll have your place looking fresh in no time, and at a fraction of the cost!
